Itinerary

(Fully flexible, as this is a private tour)

Your day begins with a pickup from your hotel or the port, followed by a short drive to the charming fishing village of Marina della Lobra, where your private traditional gozzo awaits.
The boat is fully equipped with a restroom, drinks, towels, snorkeling equipment, a light sandwich, a freshwater shower, and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Your guide will accompany you throughout the day, working closely with your skipper.

The cruise begins along the stunning Sorrento Coast, dotted with olive groves and picturesque villages—a perfect warm-up for your camera. Approaching Capri from the eastern side, you’ll pass beneath towering cliffs crowned by the evocative ruins of Emperor Tiberius’ villa.

The morning is typically spent cruising along Capri’s southern coastline, the island’s most dramatic and scenic stretch. Your skipper will navigate close to natural grottoes, revealing the extraordinary shades of blue for which Capri is famous. If you wish, stop for a refreshing swim directly from the boat.

Upon request, you may also visit the Blue Grotto, depending on weather and crowd conditions.

Around midday, you will disembark at Marina Grande, Capri’s main harbor. A short ride on the funicular railwaybrings you to the island’s heart—the legendary Piazzetta. This glamorous square is the perfect place to relax at a café, people-watch, and soak in Capri’s unique atmosphere. Your guide will be happy to recommend excellent lunch options.

In the afternoon, enjoy a guided walk to the Gardens of Augustus for sweeping views of the Faraglioni, or escape the crowds with a scenic stroll to Punta Tragara. For those who enjoy longer walks, a visit to Villa Jovis, Emperor Tiberius’ impressive Roman residence, is also possible (please note this involves approximately one hour of walking each way).

Alternatively, take your time exploring Capri’s elegant boutiques, enjoying a refreshing gelato, or—upon request—visiting one of the island’s historic perfume workshops.

At the end of the day, you’ll return to Marina Grande by taxi, board your private boat, and cruise back to Sorrento in comfort and style.

We went to Capri on a private tour with our three boys ages 12, 11, and 9. Federica, our tour guide navigated the day beautifully knowing the boys wanted to maximize their time swimming and we wanted to see a little bit of the island. Federica arranged for us to see the island by boat but allowed for stops at different grottos to swim. She helped us to get a quick lunch at an amazing restaurant and fast tracked us up to the garden where we were able to see some beautiful views! She then got us back down to the beach where the boys spent the rest of our time swimming. Federica did a great job balancing seeing the island with swimming.
