The Blue Grotto visit is possible but subject to sea conditions and waiting times; the decision can be made during the tour with your guide and skipper. Should weather conditions prevent the boat tour, the itinerary will be adjusted to include Anacapri and the Mount Solaro chairlift for spectacular views.

Your guide will meet you at Naples or Sorrento fast-boat Port. Please let us know if you need to be picked up somewhere else in town.

There are rides to Capri every 30 minutes and it takes about 50 minutes from Naples or 25 minutes from Sorrento to reach Capri island.

Upon arrival in Capri, your experience begins with a private boat cruise—the best way to admire the island’s natural beauty. Your skipper will navigate along stunning cliffs and sea caves, showcasing Capri’s most breathtaking views. The traditional gozzo boat is equipped with towels and snorkeling gear for those who wish to swim in the turquoise waters. The cruise lasts approximately two hours. If you wish to visit the Blue Grotto, please inform us in advance; access depends on weather and crowd conditions.

Back on land, you may reach Capri town by private taxi or funicular railway. The famous Piazzetta, Capri’s lively heart, is the perfect place to enjoy a coffee and perhaps spot a celebrity. Your guide can assist with lunch reservations upon request.

From Capri village, walk to the panoramic Gardens of Augustus, or escape the crowds with a scenic walk to Punta Tragara for unforgettable views of the iconic Faraglioni rocks rising from the sea. Hiking enthusiasts may also choose to visit Villa Jovis, Emperor Tiberius’ impressive Roman residence—please note this option involves a one-hour walk each way.

Time will also be set aside for shopping, relaxation, and leisure at your own pace.

In the late afternoon, your private tour will conclude at Marina Grande, where you will board your return ferry to Naples or Sorrento.

Leisure Italy was fantastic. We had contacted them several months earlier and had very specific requests for our tours . Everything was done to accommodate our cruise schedule and confirmed before our trip. Our guide met us at the cruise port to accompany us to Capri. Natalia was friendly, professional and very informative . We began with a high speed ferry ride from Naples to Capri, once landing we boarded a small boat to tour the exterior of the island . Mario expertly took us in and out of the natural treasures the coast had to offer with Natalia providing stories all along the ride. From there an open roof cab to the top of Capri, walking the streets and amazing gardens filled the rest of the day. Upon our return to Naples Natalia kindly guided us to a restaurant before leaving so we could enjoy a true Italian pizza . We could not have asked for a better day or guide. We would highly recommend Tours Italy and Natalia you will not be disappointed.
