The landscape will shift rapidly—from winding roads through lush chestnut forests to the sudden, dramatic cliffs of the Amalfi Coast.
In the morning, you may choose to head directly to Ravello or stop in Amalfi first. With the support of your experienced driver-guide, you will be free to manage your time and tailor the itinerary to your preferences.
The Amalfi Coast takes its name from the town of Amalfi, once a glorious maritime republic. For centuries, it has attracted pilgrims seeking the relics of Saint Andrew as well as modern travelers captivated by its history and beauty. You may visit the Cathedral of Saint Andrew or wander through the maze of medieval alleyways that wind up the hillside. And don’t miss the local lemon pastry, the famous Delizia al Limone.
Perched 1,000 feet above Amalfi is Ravello, renowned as the most scenic and elegant town on the coast. We recommend visiting Villa Cimbrone for one of the most unforgettable viewpoints in Italy. Take time to browse artisan workshops or sample handcrafted Limoncello.
For lunch, you will have several appealing options: relax at a café in Ravello’s charming main square, choose a clifftop restaurant with sweeping sea views, or head down to the coast to enjoy an authentic seaside tavern in Cetara.
Our special recommendation is a small family-run winery in Tramonti, a rural village between Ravello and the sea. This is the only option requiring advance reservation. Here you can taste local wines and cheeses and enjoy a visit to a traditional vineyard with century-old vines.
In the afternoon, you may stop in Cetara or Vietri Sul Mare
Cetara is the only true fishing village on the Amalfi Coast and still preserves the ancient tradition of producing Colatura di Alici, a unique anchovy sauce. Ask your driver-guide to show you one of the last remaining artisanal producers. Enjoy some leisure time in this authentic seaside town, still untouched by mass tourism. The drive from Cetara to Vietri follows a breathtaking stretch of the Amalfi Drive, with dramatic cliffs, secluded beaches, and terraced olive and lemon groves—perfect for memorable photos.
Your final stop will be Vietri Sul Mare, the capital of the region’s centuries-old handmade ceramics tradition. Time permitting, you can browse the many colorful shops offering these beautiful local crafts.
Tour Reviews
Our tour was absolutely amazing! Fabrizo did great! We checked everything off of our list. Beautiful churches, view points. and shopping. Some of the most gorgeous pictures we had of our entire trip were taken on this tour! We highly recommend stopping at the cameo factory, De Garden Restaurant for lunch, and De Riso for a sweet treat.
