Vinòforum wine festival in Rome
Excellent food and wine go on stage at Vinòforum – The Space of Taste, the kermesse dedicated to wine and quality food that will animate Rome with tastings, exclusive dinners, cooking shows, workshops, didactic lessons from 15th to 24th June. The festival will be hosted at Lungotevere Maresciallo Diaz (Farnesina) in Rome and this year, to celebrate its 15th year anniversary, it will inaugurate four brand new areas: the Wine & Gourmet Arena, the Alchemiq Bar, an Oil Shop and an amazing Lounge Bar Distillery.
Vinòforum will include hundreds of wineries – some of the best on a national and international scale – dozens of restaurants, dinners and show cooking with great chefs and master pizza makers, tastings, workshops, educational lessons and much more. An event renewed every year at each edition where the spotlights are on the wine and gastronomic excellences of the country. Thanks to its formula, which is able to involve the cultural, educational and entertainment elements, the event is a formal appointment, which has now entered the agenda of all enthusiasts and professionals.
The details of one of the most awaited and exclusive moments in the Roman Summer begin to unravel. The Festival will be a real journey along the Italian Peninsula, a gastronomic route that crosses different wine flavours and the most renowned gastronomic specialties. The Vinòforum Academy in particular will showcase 2500 wine labels from 500 wineries, “speed tastings” of wines where a Master Sommelier will be at visitors disposal, presentations by sommeliers, and more.
Within the Temporary Restaurant, 24 of the best restaurants from all over Italy will be presenting small tastings of their original recipes including fish, meat, pasta and fusion food to be paired with the 2500 wine labels. The participant of this incredible kermesse will have the chance to taste some of Italy’s regional traditional recipes including the Neapolitan Pizza, Rome’s most refined carbonara, street food, seafood and amazing ethic restaurants. Each pop-up restaurant will indeed propose to visitors a dinner with three different courses, for a total of 120 different recipes in 10 days!
The Oleoteca – or oil space – will be dedicated to the best Italian extra virgin olive oils, while the Enoteche area will host the most important wineries of the area of Rome and Lazio and a Lounge Bar Distillery, scheduled in the company of WhiskeyItaly. A total of 40 tastings will be on the agenda led by local experts, producers and the Sommelier Masters of the Vinòforum Academy. The Alchemiq Bar – the absolute highlight of 2018, will be, on the other hand, a space dedicated to the excellence of drink mixing with ten of the best bartenders in Italy who will alternate themselves with the resident bartender of the Alchemiq, the newest locale in Rome dedicated to drinks and cocktails.
The Open Kitchens, The Night Dinner and Maestri in Cucina will allow visitors to taste starred dishes paired with excellent wines and champagne and book exclusive dinners (with limited places and by reservation only) to embark on a voyage through aromatic scents and unusual tastes, .
A great event for all wine and food lovers that should not be missed!
